Donations to our General Fundraising Campaign and any current targeted fundraising campaigns can be made through our online fundraising platform at Givebutter. Through Givebutter, we can accept many payment types including all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, ACH, and digital wallets like Apple, Google, and Microsoft Pay (depending on your device). We can also accept grants from donor-advised funds (DAF) from many popular providers! Instructions for sending us a check are also included. By donating stock directly to us, you can help us provide habitat enhancements, animal enrichment, and animal care supplies for Bear Hollow Zoo while avoiding capital gains tax on any profits made on that stock since it was purchased. Please consult your financial advisor regarding the benefits relative to your specific tax situation. If you have publicly traded stocks that have increased in value and that you’ve owned for at least one year, you can easily transfer shares to Friends of Bear Hollow by using the ‘donate stock’ button below that will initiate the transfer from StockDonator.com. Nextdoor
You can donate some or all of your proceeds from sales on Nextdoor through their Sell for Good program! When you list your item for sale, scroll down to the bottom of the listing setup, choose a percentage of sales to donate, search for Friends of Bear Hollow in the charity list, and select us to receive your donation when the sale completes. Donations are automatically processed through PayPal Giving Fund.
