Friends of Bear Hollow Now Accepts Stock Donations

The Friends of Bear Hollow are pleased to announce that we can now accept donations of stock! By donating stock directly to us, you can help us provide habitat enhancements, animal enrichment, and animal care supplies for Bear Hollow Zoo in Athens, GA while avoiding capital gains tax on any profits made on that stock since it was purchased. Please consult your financial advisor regarding the benefits relative to your specific tax situation. If you have publicly traded stocks that have increased in value and that you’ve owned for at least one year, you can easily transfer shares to Friends of Bear Hollow by using the ‘donate stock’ button below that will initiate the transfer from StockDonator.com.
