Vulture Festival: Oct. 25, 8am – noon
The 13th Annual Athens Vulture Festival is back ON for October 25 from 8 am to noon!
This educational event celebrates “nature’s clean-up crew,” the vulture, as well as the community waste reduction programs featured by our host, the ACC Solid Waste Department. Be sure to find our booth to become a “Friend of Vultures” and create your very own vulture track trading card. We’ll also have re-usable canvas tote bags that you can purchase and personalize with fabric markers, plush made from recycled water bottles, and more! Your purchases at our booth benefit our programs at Bear Hollow Zoo. Visit this link for a full schedule of events and details.
